Instructions for submission of Camera-ready Paper and IEEE Copyright Form using CMT portal (GCON 2026)
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you have already registered (https://gcon2026.in/registration) before you submit your Camera-Ready Paper
STEP I: Final Camera-ready Paper Submission Preparation
- Please follow the IEEE two-column A4 size standard conference format for preparing your final manuscript. For more details, please visit the IEEE Templates page: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
- Authors should make sure that the reviewers’ comments have been addressed in the final manuscript. The reviewer’s comments are available on the conference Microsoft paper management site given below: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/GCON2026/
- Ensure not to use author titles such as Dr., Prof., Er. etc. in front of author names and avoid using positions such as Professor, Lecturer, etc.
- The maximum page limit is six pages, including references. Do not include author biography at the end. Two additional pages are permitted subject to an extra payment of ₹1000/- per additional page.
- Similarity index with other papers should be less than 30%, excluding references. Please note that according to IEEE Xplore publishing Criteria, any paper with high similarity or excessive citation for the used references & self-citation must be rejected and will not be considered for the IEEE Xplore publication. (for more details: https://www.ieee.org/content/dam/ieee-org/ieee/web/org/conferences/crosscheck_tips.pdf) The maximum file size allowed is 5 MB, and the file format should be PDF (.pdf) without encryption or passwords.
- Please note that authors are expected to retain the title of the original paper in the final paper (unless advised in the reviewers’ comment). The Change of author names is not allowed. Moreover, the final paper will have the author list as given in the CMT portal only.
STEP II: Generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of the Manuscript using PDF eXpress
- PDF eXpress Check: After preparing the final revised manuscript, submit your manuscript to PDF eXpress using Conference ID (69192X). Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress through the following link https://ieee-pdf-express.org
- First time users should do the Following:
a. Click on the ‘Create Account’ link
b. Enter the following:
• 69192X for the Conference ID
• your email address
• a password
c. Continue to enter information as prompted.
An Online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup. - Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Note: Please note that in order to access the service, you need to allow the use of cookies from the PDF eXpress website.
STEP III: Submit the final pdf (Camera Ready version) generated using IEEE PDF eXpress through your CMT account.
- Before submission, please change the PDF eXpress generated camera-ready paper file name to PID-XXX before submission to the CMT account. For example: “PID-136” (where XXX is your paper ID in CMT)
- Submit the Camera-Ready Paper (the file name should have been changed as instructed above) through the CMT account. [Click on create camera ready submission against your accepted paper ID in Action Tab]
STEP IV: Submit the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form through your CMT account
- Click on “Submit IEEE Copyright Form” on main CMT author console and follow the steps below:
a. Click on “here” to redirect to the IEEE Copyright website. It will take you to IEEE Publication Agreement Page. Follow the given steps and verify your credentials.
b. Please read and sign [Write your name] the IEEE Copyright Transfer Agreement and confirm to submit.
c. Download this IEEE Copyright Form and upload it on CMT portal under “IEEE Copyright Form Submission”.
NOTE:
1. Your manuscript will be checked before submission to IEEE Xplore, and will not be published if,
a. Similarity index/plagiarism is high in your paper
b. PDF does not comply with the template instructions such as paper length, margins, and fonts embedding, PDF express check.
2. The papers not presented in-person during the conference will be dropped from the final proceedings to be submitted to IEEE Xplore, as per IEEE no-show policy.
3. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a submission from distribution after the conference, including exclusion from IEEE Xplore if the submission does not meet IEEE standards for scope and/or quality. Articles excluded from further distribution shall be archived by IEEE but shall not be indexed or appear on IEEE Xplore.
