GCON 2026 Presenter Guidelines

GCON 2026 is an in-person conference, and all presenters are required to be physically present to deliver their presentations and interact with attendees. No provision exists for remote, recorded, or hybrid presentations.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Each oral presentation is allotted 15 minutes, including approximately 10 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for Q&A. Session chairs will strictly enforce timing, so presenters must adhere to the schedule.
Presenters should arrive at the session room at least 30 minutes before the session begins to coordinate with session chairs and fellow speakers. A PC and projector will be provided in each room, and the use of personal laptops is not permitted to avoid delays.
Presentations must be brought on a USB drive in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF format and uploaded at least 30 minutes before the session. Slides should be prepared in 16:9 widescreen format.
There is no mandatory template, but presenters are encouraged to use standard formats and ensure that videos and animations run automatically.

Technical Instructions

  • Preferred image format: JPG (GIF, TIF, BMP also accepted)
  • Avoid high-resolution images (>200 dpi) to reduce file size
  • Video formats supported: WMV, MPEG, AVI (DivX/XviD/h264)
  • Test all multimedia content on the conference PC in advance
  • External media (e.g., DVDs) are not supported

Only standard fonts available in Windows (e.g., Arial, Times New Roman) should be used. If other fonts are required, they must be embedded in the presentation file.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Posters must be in A0 size (841 mm × 1189 mm) in portrait orientation. Authors should use a single poster instead of multiple sheets. The poster should be clearly readable from a distance of about 2 meters.

Each poster must include:

  • Title of the paper
  • Authors’ names and affiliations
  • Paper ID
  • Contact details (email recommended)

Poster presenters must stand by their posters during the session to interact with attendees and answer questions. A 3–5 minute verbal summary is recommended to engage viewers.

Poster Setup & Removal

Poster boards will be assigned based on paper ID numbers, and presenters must use the designated board. Posters should be installed at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the session on the day of presentation using the provided materials (e.g., pins).

All presenters are requested to remove their posters 30 minutes after the session concludes, failing which they may be discarded by the organizers.

General Notes

  • No remote presentations are allowed
  • Strict adherence to timing and guidelines is mandatory
  • Presenters are responsible for ensuring compatibility of their files
